The HySecurity S-HTG-1-61 StrongArm 20F, also identified as HTG 320-3 DC ST, is a high-speed DC hydraulic barrier gate operator designed for demanding commercial, industrial, parking, traffic control, and security applications. The DC configuration is designed for installations where reliable operation during power interruptions is important.
The StrongArm 20F accommodates barrier arms up to 20 ft (6.1 m), making it suitable for wider vehicle lanes and larger access-control entrances. Its hydraulic drive and Smart Touch Controller provide programmable, high-speed barrier operation for demanding vehicle traffic environments.
The DC version uses a 24VDC power architecture and can be configured with battery backup to maintain barrier operation during an AC power interruption. This makes the StrongArm 20F DC particularly useful for facilities where continued vehicle access control is important during utility outages.
The Smart Touch Controller provides extensive configurable settings for adjusting gate behavior and integrating the operator with access-control and safety systems. The StrongArm 20F is designed for UL 325 Usage Classes I, II, III, and IV, covering residential through heavy commercial, industrial, and high-security applications.
The StrongArm platform also incorporates HyProtect™ breakaway arm technology, helping protect the barrier mechanism in the event of a vehicle impact. The barrier arm opens to approximately 90 degrees, providing clear vehicle passage when fully raised.
The barrier arm is not included with the operator and must be selected separately. Compatible arm configurations should be matched to the 20 ft maximum arm length and the specific installation conditions.
